Meet Carol, a passionate therapeutic horticulture practitioner on a mission to bring joy and well-being to seniors with dementia and cognitive challenges – especially those who don’t have easy access to nature. Her classes are like delightful adventures, bursting with laughter and healing vibes!

After a 35-year career as a communications manager at a law firm, Carol decided it was time to follow her heart, motivated by her brother’s cognitive limitations after a stroke. With a lifelong love of all things green, she knew the therapeutic value of the people-plant connection. With five years of experience from a nationwide company, Carol launched NatureVibes—a lively initiative dedicated to nurturing wellness for seniors in her hometown of Huntington, Long Island, and the surrounding areas.

When she’s not busy planting smiles in her classes, you can find Carol tending to her garden, teaming up with local garden centers, fishing with her husband, or enjoying the antics of her two dogs and three cats. Always up for a new adventure, she’s also studying for certification – proving her commitment to making a positive impact is as strong as her green thumb!
